Bedrooms are singular and often telling places. Inside my bedroom, a place solely for me, I’m enveloped in solitary reflection. It’s a four-walled space where I can display, mull, or recreate past, present, and future.
This project looks at people occupying their personal sanctuaries – places they have decorated with stylish, comfortable or functional essentials in individualized variations. My Escape attempts to capture stories about people, within their own four walls, taken inside a room they’ve adopted as their own canvas.
Bedrooms in My Escape become the gateway to the interior of an individual.
